BHADRAPUR – Superintendent of Police Basundhara Khadka, the chief of the District Police Office in Jhapa, has been honored with the ‘WOW Women Achievers Award 2026’ in recognition of her exemplary service in the security sector.
The award, presented by WOW Nepal during a ceremony held to celebrate influential women leaders, cited Khadka’s outstanding leadership, discipline, and commitment to duty within the Nepal Police. Organizers highlighted that the honor acknowledges her role in effectively demonstrating the leadership capabilities of women in security forces through dedicated social service.
Following the recognition, the District Police Office, Jhapa, issued a statement congratulating Khadka, noting that her tenure has been instrumental in maintaining peace, security, and good governance across the district.
