Haldibari. A one-day psychosocial counseling and foreign employment orientation program has been conducted for students of Panchayat Secondary School, Haldibari. The program was organized by the Employment Service Center of Haldibari Rural Municipality and held at the school auditorium.
The program was chaired by Ward Chairperson of Haldibari Rural Municipality–3, Bishnu Prasad Oli. During the program, students were provided with information on mental health conditions, opportunities in foreign employment, risks and challenges associated with overseas work, and measures for safe and secure employment.
Head of the Employment Service Center, Haldibari, Sapana Neupane, shared information on common problems faced during foreign employment, ways to avoid such problems, and the relief and financial assistance provided through the Foreign Employment Board.
Speaking at the program, School Principal Dilliram Dhungel, School Management Committee Chairperson Tank Bahadur Lingden, and Ward Chairperson Oli emphasized that such programs are essential at the school level, as they are directly related to students’ mental well-being and future decision-making. Similarly, school accountant Abhishek Khatiwada described the program as a valuable opportunity for students and extended his best wishes.
Psychosocial counseling was provided by Sabina Selwal, while the program was facilitated and moderated by Employment Assistant Milan Bishwakarma from the Employment Service Center.
